We're selling them for $12 if you buy them directly and $15 if you order one online. (covering shipping)

Need-to-know dates!

Let us hope you've come to our blog before and seen what this is all about.

If not, I'll tell you what it's all about. It's about serving, about giving, about caring, it's about love.

Have you ever been in your town and seen a child that was hungry? Not just hungry as in it's lunch time and he hadn't ate since breakfast...no, I mean hungry as in he didn't get lunch or breakfast cause it wasn't available to him. A mom that didn't know whether to choose between gas to get to work or food for her children? Because gas and food wasn't an option.  A dad with his family that had no idea what was missing, but in reality he needed the Lord? Have you ever stopped to think that you can you can change their life? Well, we can. 

We can change a life.

Project Give Love/Give Life is a project that has been pulled together by two teenagers from East Texas who feel a burden from the Lord to help others in our community. Our focus right now is collecting food and Bibles to give to those in our community that could use these items. These people may be in extreme need or some one who we feel the Lord is just laying on our heart to give to. We have a team of people that will be going out on our official handout dates, we will take the food and Bibles to these people. We'll first off just love them, show them how they are important to us, then we'll share the Lord with them, and give them the food and Bibles. It's so important for us to unite and serve together. We can do something big in Pittsburg/Mt. Pleasant/Gilmer.

 We could start a chain reaction of others stepping up to help. 

It's time we stop just watching; it's time we take action.

The cut-off official date for donations is October 31st.

Our team will be going out on November 12th and November 19th.

We've purposefully chose these two dates so close to Thanksgiving. 

The exception to these two dates is if some one comes across our path that we feel led to give to immediately.

Now you might feel led to join in on a deeper level. Sweet! If you feel that God may be leading you to join the core team of hand out people then you can contact us to get more information.

Now you may be a bit wary of donating money to our project, maybe you're a bit unsure of how your money will be handled and used. Have no fear, we have an official Treasurer who has experience handling money for non-profit organizations. He will ensure that all funds donated is deposited into a savings account that will be up and running next week. All funds will be used primarily for the logistics of the project, then when the handout dates come they will be used for buying perishable foods that would spoil if donated or 

bought earlier on.

We can't wait to see how God's going to low this project up to be something so much bigger than we can even plan at the moment! We're praying that our project will get others motivated and start a chain reaction.

Welcome to the project.

To start you off…

Mission statement: 

“We are a team started out by teenagers working together to present the love of God to others so much in need of it. We are uniting to collect food and Bibles to give to those in our community. We’ll use the opportunity to not only touch other’s lives, but share what the Lord has done in our life and lead others to Him. So many people are in need, but no one stops to pay attention. We have stopped, we have paid attention, and now we’re ready to take action. So join us as we give love and give life.”

Now let’s get a little more into the details. As you’ve already read, we are a group/team started out by two teenagers that has quickly grown to a bigger team. We feel a burden to obey the command God has given us, to love others with the same love we desire. We see a huge need in our own areas. We're collecting non-perishable food and Bibles-as well as funds for the project; we will go out in our communities and share these things with our neighbors. These people are so important, they mean so much. God has given us this vision, won't you join us?
